Kholek is OP, Archaon's pretty good, too, their lords get Chaos Dragons, lore of fire works very well with their roster, Shaggoths kill everything and, most of all, there's little more satisfying in this game than manually directing a Hellcannon shot into the center of a blob of enemy infantry. And I prefer them to other horde factions due to their roster. And then you can also screw your enemies over with undercities, too.Ĭhaos I like because I like horde factions for giving a break from managing settlements, specifically defending them, and just focusing on laying waste to everything in your path. Insane firepower, nukes, entire stealthed armies, etc. Floating fortresses that can sail around sacking everyone for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of money and recruit your top-tier units at a decent experience level. Every collection of Citadel miniatures represents a force fighting for survival in a galaxy of war. The thing that makes them the top for me is Black Arks. I love their roster, Malekith and Morathi are two of my favorite LLs and the slave economy make their campaign mechanics much more interesting.
